The latest Nintendo Download update for North America has arrived, and it’s bringing new games galore to the eShop in your region. As always, be sure to drop a vote in our poll and comment down below with your potential picks for the week. Enjoy!

Nintendo eShop – Highlights

Nintendo Switch Sports (Nintendo, April 29th, $49.99) – Swing, kick, spike and bowl your way to victory in the Nintendo Switch Sports game, the latest sequel to the Wii Sports series! Parkasaurus (Washbear Studio, April 28th, $24.99) – In this dinosaur tycoon management simulation, take care of your dinosaurs by constructing well-designed exhibits, researching specialized technologies and maximizing profits to expand into the ultimate dinosaur theme park.

Bugsnax (Young Horses, April 28th, $24.99) – Take a journey to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug, half-snack creatures, Bugsnax. Invited by intrepid explorer Elizabert Megafig, you arrive to discover your host nowhere to be found, her camp in shambles and her followers scattered across the island alone … and hungry! It’s up to you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island: What happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax, and where do they come from? But most of all, why do they taste SO GOOD?

SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online

Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball – Dr. Robotnik’s fortress is a giant pinball machine! Help Sonic spin, bounce and bump through four different pinball zones made up of glittering caverns, slimy sewers, boiling lava and monstrous machinery to collect the Chaos Emeralds and save the inhabitants of Mobius from a mountain of trouble.

Shining Force II – Shining Force II joins the original Shining Force in the SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online library! In this tactical RPG fantasy adventure, you’re tasked with leading the titular Shining Force in cinematic battles against an ancient evil that threatens to overtake the land.

Space Harrier II – Become the heroic Space Harrier in Space Harrier II and battle a bevy of wicked creatures in this frantic and challenging action game, which was one of the original launch titles for the SEGA Genesis!

Nintendo eShop – New Releases

Arcade Archives GAPLUS (Hamster, April 29th, $7.99) – “GAPLUS” is a shooter released by NAMCO(Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1984. All the vehicles from GALAGA are back and powered up, as hinted at by the title “GAPLUS”! Steal back a BLASTER HEAD and launch a counterattack! Now is the time for the ultimate warrior of the galaxy to emerge!

ARIA CHRONICLE – Necroknight Amazon Bundle (CREST, April 28th, $45.52) – Princess Aria and her party set out on a pilgrimage to carry out the Rite of Succession. En route, she learns of the disappearance of a village lord, and the involvement of an organization known as the “Cult.” In her struggles with this Cult, Aria discovers the shocking truth behind the Kingdom’s history, which drives her to make a certain bold decision…

Arise: A Simple Story – Definitive Edition (Untold Tales, April 28th, $19.99) – Embark on an emotional journey of losing the love of one’s life in the critically acclaimed Arise: A simple story, a 3D adventure game enhanced for Nintendo Switch™, as The Director’s Cut.

As Far As The Eye (Goblinz Studio, April 28th, $24.99) – You play as the wind guiding the Pupils, a tribe that must reach the center of the world. You’ll have to manage their resources, their buildings, and their lives. Help them grow wiser through agriculture, crafting, scientific and mystical research before the world is submerged. Be careful though, you have to manage your tribe perfectly and make sure they’re not starving or taken by surprise by the waters.

Breakfast Bar Tycoon Complete Edition (Baltoro Games April 22nd, $6.99) – Have you ever wondered what it’s like to run your own breakfast kitchen? In Breakfast Bar Tycoon, you’ll learn that it’s no easy task! You will take on the role of a breakfast bar manager and try your best to serve the hordes of hungry customers as quickly as possible. Take orders, prepare dishes and fight for tips! Invest your earnings into upgrading your restaurant and become a breakfast magnate!

Bunny Reversi (DillyFrame, April 28th, $1.99) – Classic Reversi game also known as Othello now comes to fully 3d! Play as a Bunny against AI or against your couch friend in split-screen mode. Play with one of the 4 characters to develop logical and strategic thinking, to anticipate the moves of your opponent and evaluate your moves and their consequences.

Cardful Planning (Thalamus Digital, April 29th, $4.99) – Cardful Planning is an action puzzle game with a twist, as you take on the role of a brave little playing card on an epic adventure through a dangerous dungeon.

Catie in MeowmeowLand (Blowfish Studios, April 28th, $14.99) – Catie in MeowmeowLand is a beautiful traditional point-and-click adventure game set in a bizarre world of cats and ludicrous characters. As Catie follows a strange white cat in her garden she suddenly finds herself in a mysterious world of MeowmeowLand, where she has to undergo a journey to find her way back home. Your task is to help Catie get there!

Chickens On The Road (RandomSpin Games, April 21st, $0.99) – You are driving a truck and collecting chickens. Avoid collisions with oncoming cars. Beware of green chickens they reduce chicken counter.

Cricket 22 The Official Game Of The Ashes (Nacon, April 28th, $49.99) – Cricket 22 delivers the most robust, substantial game of cricket that fans have ever seen. Derby Racing: Xtreme Driver (Megame, April 21st, $9.99) – Forget about the asphalt of the metropolis and the shiny city cars — here you will find only primitive rage and real demolition derby! To win this infernal mess, you need a powerful extreme car, an engine instead of a heart and high-octane gasoline instead of blood!

Escape Game R00M (Alignment Sharp, April 28th, $1.00) – Move through 3D space to find hints, solve mysteries and escape from the room. Anyone can play to the end because you can see hints and answers.

Feral Flowers (Starriver, April 29th, $5.00) – Feral Flowers is a lightning-fast romp through 92 levels of botanical platforming mayhem.

Gems of Magic: Dwarf’s Destiny (Mindscape, April 28th, $9.99) – Having lost his home, the young dwarf Axel embarks on a journey looking to discover the world and to find a new place to call home. After weeks of travel, Axel finds himself in the city of the Forest Dwellers. Their village has been destroyed by the Goblins who rampaged through the forest. The Forest Dwellers desperately need your help!

Get Packed: Couch Chaos (Coatsink Software, April 28th, $14.99) – Get Packed: Couch Chaos is the expanded edition of the couch co-op removals game that’s full of calamity and physics-based carnage for 1-4 players, and it’s now on Nintendo Switch™ system!

Layer Section & Galactic Attack S-Tribute (City Connection, April 28th, $29.99) – Released in 1995 by Taito, Layer Section is the home console version of the arcade game RayForce, a vertical shooting game.
Players control X-LAY, a mobile weapon equipped with lock-on lasers and battle against the Con-Human system for the survival of humankind.

Let’s Get Changed!~Nyanzou&Kumakichi: Escape Game~ (Alignment Sharp, April 28th, $19.80) – Nyanzou is quiet today for a change. When Kumakichi check up on him, looks like he’s reading a magazine. After a little while, he suddenly gets a move on. Nyanzou is notorious for not stopping until he gets what he wants. Kumakichi gets caught up in Nyanzou’s plans, and before he knew it, they’re off to a boutique. What in the world are these two up two?

Light Fairytale Episode 1 (neko.works, April 28th, $9.99) – Light Fairytale is a turn-based Japanese-style RPG series set in a dying underground world ruled by an evil empire.

LOST BUBBLES: Sweet mates (KIMIDORI SOFT, April 28th, $2.99) – Control the soap, move, and dash to get to the soap holder. However, each time the soap is moved, its durability is reduced by friction with the floor. Please reach the soap holder before it loses its durability.

Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom (Artifex Mundi, April 29th, $14.99) – An alchemist’s apprentice returns home from university to finish her training under a great master. Little does she know a real paranormal adventure has only just begun.

Ludo Game: Just chill out! (Ultimate Games, April 21st, $4.99) – Seemingly simple board games can be complicated. They are characterized by a certain complexity.

Marble Maid (eastasiasoft, April 28th, $9.99) – A cutie in a maid uniform prepares to tackle her dirtiest job yet! In this puzzle ball adventure, you’ll control the adorable maid as she rolls around a larger-than-life estate and clears away the dust bunnies plaguing each room. Chase down and eliminate at least 3 dust bunnies and roll to the goal before time is up, and you’ll clear the stage!

Marco & The Galaxy Dragon (HuneX, April 28th, $19.99) – Living on a far away planet was a girl named Marco who’d never seen her mother’s face.

My Brother Ate My Pudding! (hap Inc, April 21st, $4.99) – Hey! Who’s eaten my pudding? Try to hide and escape from your sister in anger for the pudding you ate! An easy-going and funny escape game in a situation everyone has experienced!

NEW TERRA (Winteryear Studios, April 28th, $24.99) – When there are dangerous space contracts no one else is willing to take… They call you. You pilot an old paramilitary space fighter called the Edgecrusher and find yourself on distant planets, deep under alien oceans and in far away galaxies.

P.3 (RedDeerGames, April 23rd, $4.99) – Two buttons – that’s all you need to control the spaceship. By steering the ship left or right, you will shoot at enemies – when the ship is flying straight, it will not shoot. Push left and right simultaneously to fire an alternative weapon. Simple, yet hard to master when you facing a whole horde of aliens!

Panmorphia: Awakened (LKMAD, April 28th, $6.99) – The legend goes that in each generation a child is born, a sentinel, bound to the land of Panmorphia and the four elements that govern it. The sentinels have the ability to wield each element and transform themselves into an animal that best represents it. With the use of the amulet they are able to combine all four elements and travel through the aether. They are called upon for help in times of need.

Raven’s Hike (QUByte, April 28th, $3.99) – Raven’s Hike is a 2D precision platformer, challenging game that requires the player to discover the best route to finish the levels that have a little bit of puzzles, which all movement is based on the main character grappling hook.

Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King (Forthright, April 22nd, $29.99) – The world as it was is gone, lost with the disappearance of the King. As a Wanderer of these forsaken lands, it is up to you to piece together the fragments of reality and retrace the fall of civilisation through skill based combat, innovative open-world platforming and the testimonies of survivors… some more trustworthy than others.

Slap the Rocks (eastasiasoft, May 4th, $4.99) – Block-sliding brain teasers get a fantasy adventure twist in Slap the Rocks, a retro puzzler where you play a medieval treasure hunter with a sword and a penchant for knocking stones around! Wildcat Gun Machine (Daedalic Entertainment, May 4th, $14.99) – Enter a bullet hell dungeon crawler where you take on hordes of disgusting flesh beasts with a wide variety of guns, giant mech robots, and cute kittens.
