New Nintendo Switch games releasing in May 2022

Nintendo Switch owners have enjoyed a pretty good year so far with releases like Pokemon Legends Arceus, Triangle Strategy, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Right now, you’re probably getting your sweat on with Nintendo Switch Sports. But looking ahead to next month, hopefully you’ve got a backlog of games to play through either on your Switch or other consoles because it’s not looking great.

Now, the great thing about the Switch is you’ll always have an assortment of unique indie games to dive into, but in terms of blockbuster releases, there’s nothing really coming in May. I’m personally excited for Two Point Campus, a comedic sim in which you try and run your own college university.

And Pac-Man Museum+ is undoubtedly going to be a fun trip down memory lane. 14 classic Pac-Man games all in one collection? Definitely a must-play for me.

Check out what else is coming to the Nintendo Switch for the month of May 2022.

  • Citizen Sleeper – May 5
  • Among Us: Ejected Edition – May 6
  • BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition – May 8
  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising – May 10
  • The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story – May 12
  • Evil Dead: The Game – May 13
  • Two Point Campus – May 17
  • Deadcraft – May 19
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong – May 19
  • Touken Ranbu Warriors – May 24
  • The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails – May 26
  • Kao the Kangaroo – May 27
  • Pac-Man Museum+ – May 27

Like I said, there’s not a ton coming in May, but the lull period won’t last long. Nintendo has already announced the release dates of two highly anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusives. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be coming our way on July 29, and following that will be Nintendo’s ink-splattering, third-person shooter Splatoon 3 on September 9. Unfortunately, the game we’re all waiting for — The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 — has been delayed and is now scheduled to release sometime in 2023.
